Youth Welfare & Development (YWD)

This program facilitates the provision and access to opportunities that will greatly contribute in the continuous growth and development of the target sector ages 15-18.

 
   

SEMI-INDEPENDENT GROUP LIVING HOME FOR GIRLS (SIGI)

As a support service of YWD, this home provides caring, safe and peaceful home environment wherein the youth develop and acquire necessary life skills; relational skills; self-care and self-management; positive attitudes and values.  The children whose reunification with their family could hardly be realized, are being provided with the opportunities for semi-independent living in preparation for their re-integration in the community.

VOCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM (One-Year Food Preparation and Service Technology Course)

 
 

This is another support service within the YWD.  A One-Year Food Preparation and Service Technology Course accredited by TESDA is offered to indigent high school graduates who are out-of-school but interested to acquire vocational skills for gainful employment.  The curriculum combines theories and supervised practical work that cultivate positive working habits, attitudes, competence and spirit service as well as spiritual and value development for livelihood career.

ASILOCOLLEGE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES (ACES)

Also a support service of YDW, the Asilo College Educational Services are open to the poor but deserving youth, who are willing and possess the capability to pursue college education.  Depending on their capability, this program facilitates access to educational facilities appropriate for their intellectual capacity.
